There is no escape
I meet with Kedy Fan for lunch at a vegetarian shanghai restaurant hidden away up in a high rise overlooking the harbour. We have been in touch about a possible restaging of AudioZone in Hong Kong. She tells me about an opening of a new space for para/site in the basement of a new shopping mall taking place that night. So I go along.
Gliding down the escalator descending into the basement I recognise the back of a head. The head belongs to Amy Cheung who is on her way out. She has come back to live in Hong Kong with Erkka .... We arrange to meet the following night and I continue into the exhibition....
....five minutes pass and another face I recognise....John Aiken has arrived with another Slade Alumus, Wai Pei...
